The 100th National Auto Parts Fair · Jinan
The 100th National Auto Parts Fair kicked off in Jinan on October 20, 2026. Zhou Shangyong, founder and chairman of TZST, delivered a keynote speech titled New Tracks in the Battery Sector, and the company took home the "Outstanding Brand" award.

First launched in 1965, the National Auto Parts Fair hit its 100th milestone in 2026. This year’s event opened at Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center on October 20. It covers 60,000 square meters, hosts nearly 2,000 exhibitors and 3,000+ booths, and expects 60,000 professional visitors over three days. This centennial event of China’s auto parts circulation sector serves as TZST’s industry showcase stage this year.

On the opening night, the "Search for 108 Industry Talents · Kelansu Cup 14th Auto Aftermarket Transformation and Upgrade Exchange Conference & Baiyun Night Award Ceremony" announced the results. TZST won the "Outstanding Brand" award, with the 100th National Auto Parts Fair logo printed on the medal.

1. Centennial Event: Witnessing the History of Auto Parts Circulation

The National Auto Parts Fair tours across China every spring and autumn. It has grown almost in sync with China’s auto industry over the past 60+ years. Jinan was chosen as the host city for the 100th event for its solid auto industry foundation and supply chain. Shandong is a major auto parts production base, as well as a core circulation and export hub in China.

For battery manufacturers, the value of participation lies not just in attendance, but in exposure to target audiences. The fair gathers dealers, repair chains, OEM service providers and overseas procurement groups. They judge battery brands by three straightforward standards: low-temperature startup performance, service life, and after-sales guarantee. Our core products, including sodium-ion batteries, motorcycle starter batteries and sodium-ion motorcycle starter batteries, were inspected by these professional visitors at the fair.

This year’s Transformation and Upgrade Exchange Conference is co-hosted by the 100th National Auto Parts Fair organizing committee and 8:00 Auto News, sponsored by Kelansu, with VIP reception support from Baiyun Group. TZST served as a co-sponsor of the event, and participated in the planning of the industry gathering.

2. Keynote Speech: Focus on New Tracks in the Battery Sector

At the exchange conference, Zhou Shangyong, founder and chairman of TZST, delivered a straightforward speech titled New Tracks in the Battery Sector.

He did not start with product introductions, but with cost calculation logic. In the past, the industry followed the "replace when broken" rule. Now, more players choose to calculate the total cost of the full lifecycle. Lead-acid batteries seem cheap at purchase, but they struggle to start in cold regions and have short service lives. When you add the time cost of jump starts, work delays and rescue services, their full lifecycle cost is not low at all. As new energy vehicle ownership rises, battery repair and module replacement are growing into a new service category.

He pointed out three new tracks in the battery sector:
The first is the replacement track. The shift from lead-acid to lithium-ion, then to sodium-ion batteries, replaces not just a single part, but the entire cost structure and user experience.
The second is the cold region track. Winter startup difficulty in northern China is a major pain point of lead-acid batteries, and it has long been ignored. The excellent low-temperature performance of sodium-ion batteries perfectly solves this problem.
The third is the scenario track. Non-vehicle scenarios such as emergency power supplies and energy storage systems are turning batteries from single parts into infrastructure.

For product development, TZST builds batteries as a complete system instead of individual products. For safety: We equip products with TSS thermal safety protection and ACS adaptive control technology, embedding safety and stability into the cell and management logic. For reliability: We use automotive-grade A-grade cells and IP67 protection, suitable for high-intensity scenarios such as mining areas and ports. For cold resistance: Our products support instant startup at -40℃. We have set up the northernmost service station in Mohe, and our low-temperature performance is proven by long-term field tests, not just lab data. For service: We offer a five-year warranty with replacement instead of repair, with all commitments written into terms.

"Price may attract you for a moment, but poor quality will bring you endless trouble." This is a line Zhou Shangyong has repeated at many industry events, and he mentioned it again in this speech.

3. Outstanding Brand: Honor Backed by 118 Verification Tests

At the "Baiyun Night VIP Welcome Party" held that night, the results of the "Search for 108 Industry Talents" selection were officially announced, and TZST was awarded "Outstanding Brand". The medal features both the 100th National Auto Parts Fair logo and the "Outstanding Brand" text.

A brand is never earned through awards, but through solid products and services. The "outstanding" title is supported by a series of hard, tangible achievements.

These achievements include 118 360° full-scenario safety verification tests, -30℃ extreme cold test in Heihe, Tianjin Specialized, Sophisticated, Unique, Innovative and national high-tech enterprise certifications, qualification as the first sodium-ion battery exporter in northern China, and stable mass production and delivery capacity for three product lines: lithium-ion batteries for heavy truck start-stop, sodium-ion batteries for commercial vehicles, and sodium-ion motorcycle starter batteries.

The weight of a medal is ultimately measured by end-user experience: whether a car can start in one try on a -30℃ morning, whether a transport trip can avoid unplanned stops due to battery failure.

4. Next Step: Build Cold Resistance as Core Competitive Barrier

The fair is a window for concentrated exposure, but real core strength lies in daily R&D and operation outside the exhibition hall.

TZST follows a dual-track development strategy for both lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries. We have laid out five product lines: sodium-ion motorcycle starter batteries, sodium-ion batteries for commercial vehicles, lithium-ion batteries for truck start-stop, emergency power supplies, and energy storage systems. For cold region markets, we are continuing to advance sodium-ion battery R&D and PACK manufacturing layout, upgrading "cold resistance" from a single selling point to a complete system capability.

For channel layout, we expand three channels in parallel: regional auto parts dealers, repair chains, and overseas customers. The auto aftermarket business ultimately relies on the "last mile" service radius.

TZST has a clear brand positioning: We do not make the cheapest batteries, but make reliable batteries that can start at -40℃.

The 100th fair is a milestone, and also a new starting line. China’s auto aftermarket is shifting from selling parts to selling solutions, and from competing on price to competing on reliability. TZST will continue to deepen its work in the battery sector, to ensure every start is reliable.
